Tokyo - Seventh Heaven

Here comes my second favorite in Tokyo: Seventh Heaven. This club is the last standing "household name" in Tokyo, after the legendary One Eyed Jack disappeared.

Easy to find on one of the main street of the Roppongi crossing (see photo), the Seventh Heaven is clearly a good choice when it comes to stripclubs in Tokyo.

At the door, you can usually negotiate to have an entrance fee down at JPY5,500 with 2/3 drinks included. Most of the time the place is full so if you are new there, you may need to wait a bit to sit.

Once you are at your table, the manager will line up about 15 girls for you and your friend(s) to choose - I think that in usual times, there is maybe 35/40 girls in the place. Backgrounds of the girls are very diverse, both in terms of geography and appearance. As in other Tokyo clubs, do not expect more than 1/3 asians.

Private dances are at JPY7,000 per dance (US$80) which is usual for Tokyo, and take place in a relatively large space at the back. The private area can also be crowded at times...

Tokyo - Tantra

First comment for one of the capital city of Asia - promising stuff.

First time I came to Tokyo I was amazed at the diverisity it has to offer. On this post, I will focus on a reasonable yet exciting place: Tantra

Tantra is a highlight of the stripclub scene in Tokyo. Number of them were cleaned out by real estate promoters over the recent years, and now one has a large choice for shabby locations but few "high class" (as much as it can be) clubs.

Tantra is located in the backstreets of Roppongi, the foreigner areas in Tokyo. Just ask one of the tens of African guys trying to take you to the wrong places and one of them will surely take you there "my friend".


The club is in the first basement and has about 20/25 girls in usual days. About 1/3 is Japanese or Asian and about 2/3 from Brazil and Eastern Europe. Private dances are taking place in small rooms at the back for JPY7,000 a dance (about US$80) which is pricy but in line with other clubs for Tokyo.

Tip: Reject to pay an entrance fee and ask to pay per glass (JPY1,500 for men and usually JPY3,000 for the girls)
Girl's tips: Monica (Korean/Japanese) is a reference, Brazilians are better on stage than in Private and beware of the lady with the gian dragon tatooed on her back!
